Content
- The module contains unsteady and aeroacoustic effects, and conveys applied knowledge about experimental facilities and wind tunnel measurements.
- Introductory knowledge about the topics of multi-body-systems, top-performance vehicles, track vehicles, side wind stability and slip-stream are conveyed.
- After the successful conclusion of the module, the students can assess the appearance of characteristic flow phenomena like separation, recirculation, and eddy structures on a vehicle and categorize their consequences.
- They are able to interpret streamline patterns around blunt bodies on the basis of simple consideration of potential theory.
